This App is designed for use by parents and teachers. Because our users may manage profiles for minors, we take data privacy and security incredibly seriously and adhere strictly to applicable privacy laws including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
2. Information We Collect
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when registering for the App, expressing an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, or otherwise contacting us.
The personal information we collect depends on your role (Parent or Teacher) and may include the following:
- Personal Information Provided by You: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, gender, and country.
- Date of Birth: Collected solely for age verification purposes in compliance with COPPA. We use this to confirm the user is 13 years or older. This information is stored securely and is not shared with third parties.
- Child Profile Data (Parent-managed): Parents may create profiles for their children including name, gender, country, and an "about" description. These profiles are fully controlled by the parent and cannot be modified by the child.
- Profile Data: Profile pictures (synced from your Google account), tutoring qualifications, and meeting links for teachers.
- App Activity: Attendance records, class schedules, and tuition booking history within the App.
- Device Information: We may automatically collect device information (such as your mobile device ID, model, and manufacturer) for crash reporting and analytics to improve the App's stability.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information collected via our App for a variety of business purposes described below:
- To Facilitate Account Creation and Logon Process: To allow parents and teachers to securely access their accounts via Google Sign-In.
- To Provide App Functionality: To manage tutoring schedules, track attendance, and enable communication between parents and teachers.
- Age Verification (COPPA): Date of birth is used solely to verify the user is 13 or older before any account data is stored.
- To Request Feedback: To contact you about your use of our App.
- To Protect Our App: As part of our efforts to keep our App safe and secure (for example, fraud monitoring, prevention, and Firebase App Check integrity verification).
4. How We Share Your Information
We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We use the following third-party service providers who may process your data on our behalf:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore Database, App Check, Cloud Functions) — handles secure account creation, data storage, and integrity verification. Firebase Privacy Policy

- Zoom (External App) — Class sessions are conducted via the Zoom application installed on your device. Our App only provides the meeting link and launches the Zoom app externally. We do not embed the Zoom SDK, record sessions, or receive any data from Zoom meetings. Zoom Privacy Policy
5. Data Security
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. Data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols. We use Firebase App Check to verify that only authentic instances of our App can access our backend services. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
6. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Our App is designed for users aged 13 and older. We comply fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Age Verification
When a new user signs up via Google, they are required to verify their date of birth before any account data is stored. If a user is determined to be under 13 years of age:
- Their Google authentication account is immediately and permanently deleted from our systems.
- No personal information is stored in our database — not their name, email, date of birth, or any other data.
- They are shown a notice explaining they are protected and no data was retained.
Child Profiles Managed by Parents
Parents (users aged 13+) may create profiles for their children within the App. These child profiles:
- Are created and fully controlled by the parent, not the child.
- Contain only: name, gender, country, and an optional "about" description.
- Cannot be edited by the child directly — only the parent can modify child profile data.
- Are protected by database security rules that enforce parent-only write access.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have collected information from your child in a manner not permitted by law, please contact us immediately at nfappsupport@gmail.com so we can remove the data.
7. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Your Right to Delete Data
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information and your account. To request the deletion of your data, please choose one of the following methods:

- Email Request: Send an email to our support team with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" to nfappsupport@gmail.com.
Upon receiving your request, we will verify your identity and securely delete your personal information from our active databases within 7 business days, subject to any legal obligations to retain specific data.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last Updated" date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible. We encourage you to review this privacy policy frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.
