Welcome to Health Hub ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal health data and your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our mobile application Health Hub (the "App").
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Information We Collect

- Google account email address
- Google account profile photo
- Google account unique identifier (UID) — used to link your data to your account

- Health goal (maintain, lose, or gain weight)
2.3 Daily Health Logs
- Water intake (glasses per day)
- Step count
- Calorie intake
- Sleep duration (hours)
- Workout duration (minutes)
- Weight entries (daily records)
2.4 Health Metrics
- Heart rate readings
- Blood pressure readings
- Blood sugar readings
- Calculated BMI, BMR, TDEE, and body fat percentage
2.5 Health Tools Data
- Medication reminders (name, dosage, time)
- Appointment records (title, doctor, date, time)
2.6 Device Information
- Device type and operating system version
- FCM push notification token (for receiving health reminders)
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information solely for the following purposes:
- Provide health tracking services — to calculate BMI, BMR, TDEE, body fat, and display progress toward your health goals
- Cloud synchronization — to sync your data across multiple devices using your Google account
- Health reminders — to send medication and appointment notifications locally on your device
- Push notifications — to deliver optional health tips and reminders via Firebase Cloud Messaging
- Data export — to generate and share a downloadable report of your personal health data
- Account management — to authenticate your identity and manage your account
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing the App's core health tracking functionality.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using the following technologies:

Security measures:

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal health data with any third parties.
The only third-party services we use are:

These services are used strictly to operate the App and do not receive your health data beyond what is required for their function (authentication tokens and encrypted cloud storage).
6. Your Rights
You have full control over your personal data. Under this policy and applicable data protection laws (including GDPR and CCPA), you have the following rights:
- Right to Access — You can view all your stored data at any time within the App under Profile → Data Privacy → Download My Data
- Right to Export — You can download a complete report of all your personal health data in HTML format at any time
- Right to Delete — You can permanently delete all your data (both local and cloud) by selecting Profile → Data Privacy → Delete Account
- Right to Rectification — You can edit and update your personal profile data at any time under Profile → Edit Profile
- Right to Withdraw Consent — You can sign out at any time, which disables cloud synchronization
When you delete your account, all your personal data is permanently removed from both your device and our cloud servers within the same session. No data copies are retained.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data only for as long as your account exists:
- Local data — Stored on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App
- Cloud data — Stored in your personal Firestore database until you delete your account
- Account data — Removed immediately upon account deletion
We do not retain any data after you delete your account. There is no grace period or backup retention.
8. Push Notifications
The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver push notifications. These may include:
- Medication reminders you have scheduled
- Appointment reminders
- Health tips and app updates
Notification content may include images if provided by the notification sender. FCM tokens are used solely for delivering notifications to your device and are not shared with third parties. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will delete such information.
10. International Data Transfers
Your data may be stored and processed on servers located outside your country of residence, as Google Cloud operates data centers globally. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your data to countries where Google operates, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
